Effective: August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how NxTLvL collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Account info: email, phone number (optional), username, medical school, and year level. If you sign up via Google, we receive your name and email from that provider. Usage data: your quiz sessions, answers, ratings, flags, and study progress. Referral data: who referred you and who you've referred, to attribute rewards correctly. Payment data: for manually processed payments, we store the reference number and plan selected — we never see or store your payment provider login, PIN, or card details.
To create and secure your account, track your mastery per concept, generate study recommendations, run free trial/referral/early-access programs, confirm payments, and improve the question bank based on how it's actually used. We also use aggregated and de-identified usage data — patterns in how questions get answered, which topics are hardest, how study habits relate to outcomes — to train and improve our mastery-tracking and question-serving algorithms and to develop new features.
We process your data under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), on the basis of your consent when you sign up and our legitimate interest in operating and improving NxTLvL as a study tool.
We don't sell or share your personally-identifiable information with third parties for their own marketing use. Your identifiable data is shared only with the service providers that run NxTLvL itself — our database/hosting provider, our email provider, and our payment processing — strictly to operate the app.
We may aggregate and de-identify usage data — so that it can no longer reasonably be traced back to you — and use, license, or otherwise share that de-identified data (for example, anonymized trends about question difficulty or study patterns) for research, product development, or with partners, consistent with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active, so your mastery tracking stays meaningful over time. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal identifying data within a reasonable period, though anonymized usage data (e.g. aggregate question performance stats) may be retained.
Under RA 10173 you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and can withdraw consent at any time (which may limit what the app can do for you). You can delete your account directly from your Account page — this is immediate and permanent. For access or correction requests, use the in-app feedback feature.
Your data is stored with row-level security policies restricting access to your own records, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate for an app at this stage to protect your information.
We may update this policy as NxTLvL evolves, especially around official launch. Material changes will be flagged in-app.
